Tales of Halloween at Garfield Farm Museum

Campton Hills, IL-    Master Storyteller Reid Miller will be giving two performances of his Tales of Halloween Show at Garfield Farm Museum on Saturday, October 27th. The shows will feature stories both spoken and sung. The 2:30pm matinee show is for younger children and their families, while the 7:00pm show is for teenagers and adults.
    Reid Miller is a story teller, musician, dancer, dance teacher and caller, singer and puppeteer. He has entertained generations of youngsters and families. His shows weave various art forms into a unique blend of imagination inspiring enchantment. Generations of young parents and grandparents are constantly returning and introducing their children and grandchildren to Reid‚s beloved shows.
    Reid grew up performing in Oklahoma and Louisiana. As a young man he moved to Wisconsin, where for 35 years he has entertained all generations. He is known for his acclaimed renditions of classic and traditional folktales and songs, contemporary and original songs and stories, and family contra dances. Reid has performed at the museum‚s Harvest Days event for years and has always been well received.
    The shows run $10 for adults, $5 for children, and a maximum of $30 per family. Refreshments will be provided. Reservations can be made by contacting the museum at (630) 584-8485 or info@garfieldfarm.org.      Garfield Farm Museum is a 370 acre historically intact former 1840‚s prairie farmstead and teamster inn that volunteers and donors are preserving as an 1840‚s living history museum. The museum is located 5 miles west of Geneva, Illinois off ILL Route 38 on Garfield Road.
